ssDNA & RAD51 filament

Replication protein A (RPA1–3)

Complex that binds single-stranded DNA: multiple copies cover the long 3′ tails. RPA-coated DNA also recruits the kinase ATR. RAD51 must then replace RPA; purified BRCA2 enables RAD51 to displace it. [1][2][3]
